Economical but not worth it

I got the phone in the first lot itself: Got a discount worth Rs.800 from SBI and a complimentary 32 GB memory card that you can use on the phone(that’s right, external memory supported is at a maximum of 32GB).

I bought the phone to replace my ageing Nexus 4, but I am not very satisfied. The rear camera is an 8megapixel one, but the quality of photos taken with it are not excellent. The phone heats up pretty well on using a cover, although I remove the cover when charging the phone. Display is good but could have been better. Even with 2GB RAM, switching between apps is not absolutely smooth.

The only good thing about the phone is its big 3500 mAH battery; even with internet usage, the charge holds on for a day. And it charges up fast with the stock charger provided.

Is it worth Rs. 7999? It depends on whether you want to be happy with specifications that look good on paper, or whether you want to pay a bit more and get something that actually works better on the aspects I highlighted before.
