Desgn: Moto G 3rd edition is a big jump from 2nd edition. It has nice textured finish at the back which is of course made of plastic. It has a plastic frame at the middle which looks nice. But the volume and power buttons felt little mushy.
Display: Display is a 720p tft lcd which has very poor viewing angles. And outdoor visibility is OK.
Performance: it houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. Its performance is quite good considering the price point. It can handle multitasking quite easily. Gaming performance is also quite good.
Battery: it packs a 2470mah battery which is infact quite good. On a moderate usage it last a full day.
Software: its the best thing about the phone. It comes with Android 5.0 lollipop and also upgradable to 6.0.You can have stock Android experience.
The gesture controls such as shake to light up torch, and twist to camera comes quite handy.
Camera: It has a 13 Megapixel primarily camera which produces very sharp photo. Photo has great details and filter reproduction is vibrant but only when provided light. Camera performance is poor.
Photo has a lot of digital noise and its dual tone led doesnt help a lot.
Secondary 5.0 Megapixel camera is awful. Doesnt produce good pictures at all. It has a lot of digital noise.
Call quality: call quality is quite good and the noise canceling feature of Motorola helps a lot in call.
Pros:
1) software with frequent updates
2) battery life
3) primary camera in daylight
4) call quality
5) performance
6) water resistant
Cons:
1) DISPLAY
2) front facing camera
