Background apps like whatsup and other messaging apps that are always always connect. Data backup apps also nun a liot. Unleass you post screen shot of the battery state page and click on the battery graph and post a shot of the screen with awake signal, wifi, gpra, bars Also overheating means the phone go to hot and shut off. If your phone is not shuting off. It is not ovrar heating it is simple getting warm or hot. Unless your phone is compleatly off. It will use battery, cpu, radio and genarate heat. This is true off all phones. I have never wiped cache on any phone I have owned sow people claim if helps ihave never done it.
