Its a very good device by Motorola. The specs dont look so good on paper, but the usage is truly awesome. I have come across the 16gb model with 2gb ram and I have to say that its really an awesome devide!
I will mention some pros and cons about the device:
PROS
1) IPX 7 certified i.e Its water resistant! Very useful during monsoon etc. But do remember that its water resistant not water proof! So dont put it into the water purposely!
2) The build quality is extremely good, it really feels like a premium device. Also the back panel has a very nice grip which feels very nice and is less slippery as compared to other devices.
3) The audio output from the headphone jack is incredible. The music output is superb!
4) The call quality is excellent. Its loud and clear! It has 4g LTE support and it works nicely!
5) The battery life is also very nice and it easily lasts for a full working day in moderate usage.
6) Back Camera is also very nice and fast in the new Moto g3. It captures pictures very clearly and smoothly! We can even zoom properly.
7) The speakers are pretty loud clear and I love them!
8) The phone performs excellently w.r.t multitasking and there is hardly any lag during normal moderate usage. Its overclocked at 1.4ghz which really helps with the performance!
9) It comes with latest Android L and we cant expect latest updates from google to this device earliest! one more reason to buy this phone!
10) USB otg works with this phone!
CONS:
1) The screen quality could have been improved. It has a slight yellowish tint and also the contrast isnt that great.
2) Charging is slow, almost 2.5 hours to charge full
3) No LED notification light.
4) Front camera isnt excellent. In low lighting conditions its not that great.
5) Doesnt allow lot of customization.
6) The gaming performance is not top notch, it does lag while playing heavy games.
So overall the Moto g 3 is an excellent device and perfect for moderate users for a long term usage! I would recommend the 16gb version with 2gb ram!
