The moto g4 plus is an impressive phone for the money and yet more evidence the gap between flagship and a budget smartphone.

This is a unashamedly plastic smartphone with a large 5.5 inch display. Theres a tough, smoothly curved plastic frame around the glass front. The speaker at the top has a subtle mettalic highlight around it and theres a raised, small, square fingerprint sensor at the bottom. Power and volume button are on the right side, micro usb point on bottom and a 3.5 mm audio jack on top of it. On the back theres a camera with flash on the top side and a moto logo in the center of the back panel.

The handset runs on stock anroid 6.0. other feature include bluetooth 4.1, 4g LTE, micro usb 2.0 with otg, gps. The handset lack NFC though but it isnt a huge issue
Display:
Moto g4 plus features a 5.5 inch full hd display with 401 ppi. You get two color mode for the display. A vibrant mode and a normal mode. Color accuracy is quite good and sunlight readability is good also
Perfomance:
Moto g4 plus is powered by sd617 SoC clocked at 1.5 GHz with adreno 405 GPU. Day to day perfomance is very smooth and I didnt find any issue. Games also handled well but I notice some frame drops while running heavy games however less power demanding games runs pretty well. Overall perfimance is pretty decent and the chipset performs well.
Camera:
The readr camera features a 16 mp omnivision sensor with an f/2.0 aperture added with a combination on PDAF and LDAF and a dual tone LED flash. Pictures comes out very appealing and definitely better than any other motorola smartphone camera. Detaila are very good and there is visible sharpening to pop out some details. Color saturation is well balanced and the scene looks natural while taking pictures outdoors. But indoor pictures are not very good in terms of white balance. Picture look better with HDR mode on and improve overall dynamic range. The camera of moto g4 plus is probably the best under rs 15, 000 rs
Bettery:
There is a 3, 000 mAh non remivable bettery on the moto g4 plus which sound good. The bettery last a day after full charge and thanks to the turbo charging feature you can recharge the phone from 0-100 in about 90 minutes
Verdict:
Moto g4 plus is a recomended smartphone. Motorola done a good job in updating its hardware as well as software and the best camera phone under rs 15, 000
