This mobile is not as good compared to its predecessor. Moto g4 plus was much better in looks and price compared with G5 plus. When G5 was released they increased the price, but there is no such remarkable change in Moto G5 which will be noticed. The looks of the mobile is completely changed making it a ergonomic design and made it little smaller. The multi tasking feature seems having same speed for both the phones.
Redmi note 4 is much better option than moto G5 because compared to the price redmi offers betters functionality and looks. While using both mobiles I felt moto was lagging behind in speed and battery back up compared to note 4 of Xiaomi.
So I would suggest go for Redmu note 4 than Moto g5 plus.
