The sound quality of the moto g5 plus is quite descent. However there is background noises which is often encountered while attending cellular calls.
Most like a stock android experience the smartphone is user friendly as it runs on android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Moto gestures are also included in the device.
It is a stylish and well designed smartphone however if we look closely then we could see the plastic rim edged on the back of the phone. It is not completely metal body finish.
The 5.2 inch LCD IPS display is bright with vibrant colours but the pixels are not as perfect as super AMOLED. It runs on octacore snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with adreno 506 GPU. Day to day usage with the smartphone does not bring about any issues whatsoever. However heavy graphic games do lag a bit on this smartphone. It is a typical dual sim smartphone with a dedicated micro sd card slot expandable up to 128 gb. The 32 gb model has a 4 gb of RAM and the RAM management is satisfactory I would say considering the price point of the device The moto g5 plus houses a 3000 mAh non removeable battery which lasts up to a full working day with no overheating issues. The moto g5 plus is having a 12 MP rear shooter, and the picture quality is just perfect. However the front facing 5 MP shooter is not as good as the rear facing camera and the selfie lovers are surely going to hate the device. The home button is also an active fingerprint sensor and it unlocks the phone pretty fast. It does support OTG compatibility. This cannot go without saying that the smarphone does not have a compass sensor, so if you are driving your way or walking, the directionality wont be provided by the smartphone.
As mentioned above it does feel premium in hand but the plastic back rim is the reason why the phone is not that heavy, which might be a good news for some users. It comes in two colour variants- the lunar grey and gold.
It is priced at around Rs 17000(flipkart), and considering the price point and the specs it does not deliver value for money experience. But if you are in search of a smartphone under 20K, then moto g5 plus might be the right phone foe you.
