Very nice phone, and I am really happy with it, especially at intro price of 300. All the basics seem to work very well, and there are extra features I wasn’t expecting.
If I have to make one complaint, it would be that there is no blinking light for notifications while the screen is off. That’s been replaced with a screen that briefly comes on when the phone is lifted or bumped, showing notifications, without fully waking the phone. Message review show if the screen is touched. That’s all handy, but I miss being able to just glance at the phone across the room to see a flashing light. Also, if the phone is not perfectly still, the screen keeps coming on, which has to use a little battery power. I assume that Motorola did away with the notification LED to save a little battery life, but it’s not a perfect solution. I would suggest to them the option of a notification LED that can be set to only light while charging.(I assume there’s a way to turn off the movement trigger, while it’s sitting in a moving car, but ii haven’t found it yet)
Anyway, I don’t think you can beat this phone in this price rang
