I bought Moto X Play in October 2015 .the phone was very good with great features that I loved but my joy was not to last for long.
Within 15 days of operation the front camera packed up and I took it to the service centre in Noida for repairs. They ordered the camera on 4th November, 2015 and it has not yet come . still waiting for this camera part.
Then the nightmare started again the main camera packed up and the customer support advised me to take the phone to a different service centre in Noida . which I did on 4th December, 2015. They confirmed both cameras need replacement and ordered parts the very same day. Believe it or not even to date the parts have not arrived.
I called up customer care today to know what is happening about the phone. The response was the parts are on order and will arrive soon. That soon no one knows when! I had written mails also to customer care but there is no response coming from Motorola . After chasing motorola USA on this issue someone from motorola India called up 2 days back and asked for the complete history again. I told them that it is already 3 months my phone is with them and I have bought another phone so I would like to have my money back . Motorola refused to make a refund . I asked for a replacement and they refused to do that also . Their stand is they will repair the phone and return( GOD only knows when . it is already 3 months!) . Also they declined to extend the warranty for the period my brand new phone has been with them for repairs! . PATHETIC Customer care!
It seems Motorola is least bothered about its customers . they just want to make quick money and give two hoots for the customers and let them suffer. I hope someone responsible in Motorola is reading this message and provide relief . The state of affairs on after sales front at Motorola is pathetic. . Please share this as much as you can so that Motorola comes to the rescue for the cheated customers like me.
So NEVER EVER buy a MOTOROLA Product!
