After having a good experience with Moto G I went for a Moto X for my friend. Here is the review after over 2 weeks of use.
Stating with cons-

A 2200mAh battery is sealed inside the body. Compared to today’s quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 rival, coming with a dual core processor.
Now The Game Changers-
1.Great design and feel.
2.Excellent performance irrespect of its dual core processor near stock Android.
3.Camera- really good.
4.Wide screen that feels good.
5.Price point-VFM.
So, as per my exp its value for money device which you can go for, without any hesitation.
I think only Flipkart can sell the product in India. It is around Rs. 23, 999 on Flipkart for a normal variant.
