I bought this phone from Flipkart for about Rs. 26, 000. So here is my review for this device:-
Build and design: This is undoubtedly a big device. With a screen size of 6" it becomes difficult to hold it if u have small hands. This is no doubt a two hand device, you cant even think of using it with single hand. But anyway the phn seems to be premium to hold in the hand.
Now lets talk abt the display of this device: Frankly speaking I did not at all like its display. The color accuracy is bullshit. Whites are not actually whites, they are very much on the warmer side. While for some of u it might be okay but I just can’t bear with a device with such a display.
Battery life: The battery is pretty avg. can only give me a SOT of abt 3 - 3.5 hrs. So for a normal day it may last but if its a long and working day then you wud have to charge it in evening.
Performance:With the SD 805 and the stock android experience the phone seems to be fast and fluid. No lag in the UI or day to day tasks. But due to that 1440p display, some heaviest of the titles like Nova 3 do drop a few frames here nd there.
Camera: As usual The Nexus phones are known to have an avg. camera. same is the case with this. outdoor lighting you can get decent pics but in indoor lighting I’d say it’s just not acceptable. A lot of noise is there.
Speaker: The phn has dual stereo speakers so sound output is decent.
Call quality: The call quality I found to be avg. I wud rate it 7/10.
Updates: Being a nexus this device will be getting all android updates ever so fastly. No issues regarding that, at the time of writing this review the phone is running on the latest version of Android Marshmallow.
Price & Competetion: Now this phn is selling for abt Rs. 22000. I’d say the competition is offering a lot more in this price. You can have a look at Vibe X3 which sells for just Rs. 20000 and I feel is a much better buy than this. Also if u just wanna go for a nexus, I feel Nexus 5x has a gr8 camera and the 16gb version sells for just 20 - 22k.
