Its the RAZR mania!!!!!!!!!!. If u r looking to buy a phone just above the normal trend then MOTORAZR V3i is for u. The Phone is from the impressive RAZR family but this is the GEN X model. The styling is uncomparable to any other phone in the market.I just bought this set 2 month ago for 11, 800rs and I hve not even once regretted my decision. let me tell u what I feel about this cell phone
STYLING AND DURABILITY: Perfect 10 is what I can say. the styling is just fantabulous. with metal finishing this baby looks absolutley amazing. there r three colours available metallic purple(most popular) Silver and for the ladies, Pink.The cell phone is so sleek that it can almost get lost in ur pockets. The inner key pad is chemically etched aluminium this is really a delight to use. for those who had to press hard in their previous mobiles this will be like soft foam cushion for their fingers.the styling of this key board is colourfull as well as trendy.and for all this delicate styling u might think this is a extremley delicate thing, but dont get fooled by this exterior its extremley strong, I have dropped it accidentally from a moving bike but still this baby held itself together. I would say lines and lines about its styling but have other things to cover. A perfect 10 in this department.
FEATURES: For 12, 000rs this phone is surprisingly fully loaded. The 1.23 mega pixel camera can take surprisingly good pictures for a camera phone.what really makes the pictures so good is actually the screen which has an unmatching resolution. the screen on the outside also reasonably good but is limited in its functions.The commendable feature is the iTUNES software tht this has.u also get a 256 MB memory card along with the cell. u can upgrade it to 1GB and u have urself an iPOD.The sound clarity and the reception are also good. there are many features like airplane mode, safe application where in u can store all ur confidential data wit a password. The best part is the accessories u get along with this. u get 256MB card (internal memory 13MB) an USB cable which can also be used to charge ur battery if u have all the drivers installed in ur system, A hands free with really good sound quality. A SD adapter for ur memory card which can also be attached a digital camera or any other device, A high quality Leather pouch, a hand tag.and all the other usual stuff. this really saves u some money.
its also really easy to use and maintenence free.
If u are looking to work on emails and spreadsheets then u need to go to a higher model, certainly not this one but for a common man these features would be more than enough.
DRAWBACKS: there are actually very few draw backs. there is only one external portal for all connections so u cant charge and talk at the same time.For game freaks, I would not suggest it this, u can download some nice games but the variety is limited, its not compatible with some of the most common games available like MOTO GPII.The external speaker is actually quite low and can be easily lost in traffic noise or any thing equivalent. A flash on the phone would be useful.The iTunes supports only 50 songs anything above this should have to be played manually.
FINAL WORD:
Finally I would say if u have 10, 0000-12, 000 and is looking to buy or change ur cell then dont even think twice. MOTORAZR V3i is for U!!!. This has all the features u can get for this price range and more. And that stylish looks and the envy in the others eyes is priceless!!!!!!!!:)
