Talk of the town

Elegant, Dark n Sexy... wen anyone hears these epithets.. he wud imagine dat I m describing a sensuous lady... bt all u guys out there.. u r all mistaken... I m describing my very own motoslvr L7...

u name it n u hav the feature in it... n dat too for an earthly sum of 10.3 grand... bluetooth, video cam, video recording and an awesome audio player.. all packed into a razor sharp mobile barely over a cm thick

well u readers might start thinking dat I m actually hooked to this product.. bt I m not into it widout a reason.. let me describe this model in complete detail

1) Looks: the body is black with a titanium keypad... well calling it a keypad is actually criminal.. coz the keys barely surface out over the surface of the cell phone... n its amazing blue backlight makes it amazingly desirable in the dark...

n if all this was not enough... the sensor fitted on the top senses the light around n keeps the backlight off.... wen there is enough light around....

2) Picture resolution: the TFT screen provides amazing clarity.. n in this regard it is miles above its nearest competitor.. the Nokia 6600.... well the picture quality is as good as some of the best Samsung displays....

3) Memory: in addition to the in built memory of 6MB.. an additional memory card of 128 MB comes alongwith the product... that roughly means that we can store around 30 songs of .mp3 format....

4) Camera : the camera resolution is just .3 megapixels..bt considering that the snaps have amazing clarity... hmm..may sound a bit too anti-nokia 6600... bt the pictures r much better than that....

5) Audio player : the audio player has been designed to look like the ipod software... the performance is pretty impressive... n furhter still.. it segregates the songs according to artists n genres automatically... n u can also create playlists...bt this comes with a big drawback... u cant do anything else wid the phone when the audio player is on....

But what would be of real interest to the review readers, would be as how does it compare would its competitors.... to put this in perspective .... I wud like to put forward the reasons which made me buy this particular model

the problems I noticed in the following models:

Nokia 6600 - too bulky, mp3 quality not very good, very common

Nokia 3320 - too slow processor, bulky, keypad operation can be cumbersome at times

Nokia 7610 - really good piece, but at 14k+ , it really didn’t fit into my budget

Sony Erricson W800i - had all the required qualities.... but wat I was really concerned was the durability of the joystick..... Sony Erricson has a really notorious reputation in this regard

LG models - didn’t feel like the LG models have created a niche in the mobile segment.. so was quite skeptical about those

Samsung - a model having all features at this price wasn’t available

Additionally... u get a hands free device n data cable with the mobile... so summing it all up... this sleek model is ready for the kill... go get it!!!!
