: T-190 was my first cell phone I just had to change it this month only. I bought this cell in august of 2003. we bought 2 of them one for myself the other one for my sis.
We both needed cell phones as both of us mostly were outside the house and my mom she worries a lot bout us. The cost was somewhere around Rs.4500 each so it wwas all good. But I guess first I thought that maybe the phone is enough for me with its features but like 2 to 3 months later the sms system of the phone stopped working (not a problem of the service provider). And when I went to the shop they said ’’yea its a problem but we need to send it to bangalore to get it repaired’’.
Incidently both the phone were having the same problem. So me and my sis agreed that its ok for us as we don’t use much of sms as long as we can call its k. So we didn’t give it for repairing as they said it will take time
2 months passed and my friends also bought new cell phones and when I checked their cells they were having much more features and the price was around rs. 4.5k only. One of my friend had this sony ericsson dont remember the no. It was a colored cell with many many games and with GSM and WAP enabled. And worth only maybe Rs.4750. Even the nokia model which comes in the range of 3000 to 4000 is better then the T-190. Cuz it recieves picture messages and everything. And in ur T-190 u cant get pic messages.
This is not all, you can only download two ringtones in this cell when the other cells of the same price have space for lot more. The ringtones provided are not really good either. The handfree mode cannot be enabled. But I thought its ok I dont play much games and stuff on cell.
But just one month ago the cell stopped rechargin I went back to shop the guy there said the adopter is not workin and changed it. I came back home and tried to charge it but again with no success , went back to the shop this time they said ’’theres some water inside the cell we will clean it and then it will be ok’’. But again with no success at last they said ’’we need to send this to bangalore for repairing’’. And he admitted later that the same problem is faced by many of their customers... and its now 15 days and it has not been returned to me yet.
