Hi, am using a V66 since last one year. Overall, it is smartly designed & fits your profile in meetings as well as parties. It has a good date book which is of immense help to me.
Now for BUTs... While using, I discovered some typical features as jotted below:
1) Key pad impression sratches the screen. My dealer advised me not to keep it in jeans pocket to avoid this. Huh! So the set should come with a manual about where not to keep. ridiculous.
2) The cover gets loose very soon. This gives an ugly look like half open bonnet.
3) Cumbersome navigation through phone book. It takes first letter only in search mode unlike nokia sets.
4) Charger socket malfunctions. I have to insert, adjust, reinsert etal the charger socket at the back of my set before it gives the coveted word ’’charging’’
5) It doesnot support picture message. This is strange for a modern phone as costly as this.
6) It doesnot have polyphonic ringtones, nor can one download one. However, this is not that important to me.
It has a fax option which is again of no use to me. verall, I can take it as a sleek looking basic phone that is over priced.
