Mt Abu is a beautiful hill-station close to the Gujarat border of Rajasthan. There are lots of sites to enjoy, but 2 days is sufficient to cover them all
. I visited Mt Abu with my parents on my last trip to India. It was in February-March - a nice time to visit.. when its not too hot. The sunset point is a wonderful place to watch the sun set while being perched on the hill-top.
You can enjoy boating on the Nakki Lake. Near the lake are several shops selling traditional handicrafts. Achalgarh and Guru Shikhar are also worth visiting. But the highlight of Mt abu is certainly the magnificent Jain temples of Delwara. They are amazing beyond words.
You have to see it to believe it! Then if you have time, you can also visit the BrahmaKumai Peace park and they also have a big township at the foot of the mountain. Adhar Devi is also a nice place to visit - a small temple reached by climbing a couple hundred steps. All around the scenary is beautiful and the place is relatively clean - no plastic bags hanging on trees.. Hope it stays like that forever!
