I should begin my review by pointing out that I am no great fan of carbonated drinks but confess the lemon-lime taste of Mountain Dew is not unappealing to me. I think it has a nicer taste than some other sodas like 7-Up and I do occasionally have a can of it. I find it is best drunk ice cool.
In my view Mountain Dew or other sodas should be drunk in moderation. OK they may quench your thirst on a hot day and give you a bit of an energy boost but we should remember they are sugar laden, have caffeine and are high in carbohydrates. In short, excessive consumption of such drinks is not advisable and I would not advise consuming them just before you go to bed. Limit your intake to an occasional glass during the hot weather but do not get into the habit of downing several cans every day.
Summing up, in my view, Mountain Dew is one of the better tasting drinks of its kind but drink it in moderation. It is not that nutritional and it is not wise to gulp to much of it down !
