I was sodomized by Standard Chartered Bank

To introduce myself - Amit Ghosh, Post Production and Television Software producer from Kolkata.

I was offered a Credit Card from Standard & Chartered bank on 2001, I was using the card with no hassle.

But on 9th of July 2003 I received a telegram from bank stating - My cheque has bounced and a police complaint has been lodged under section 138A and 406, and I have to pay my full dues within 48 hours to withdraw the case content.

On receipt of the said telegram, I got in touch with my bank, from where the last cheque was issued ( 14th of June 2003 ) - as expected, all the cheque to Standard Chartered Bank till that date was cleared ( on 28th June ) without any problem.

At this stage as I approached the bank, they refused to comment on it and insisted to make my payments.

Adding to that SCB has also put my name on the ’’defaulter list’’ which is shared by all financial institution.

At this stage what is the probable course of action I need to take please advice.
