Although I am a new member, I used to visit this site since 2 years. But never felt like becoming member. Recently, I was fooled by The Mobile Shop. Their terms & conditions in fine print were unwanted and irrelevent. Like asking you your complete bank details with MICR code, when they just want to pay Cash Back amount by cheque.
And asking address proof which they can take from invoice itself. And not accepting form at any branch, but must be sent by post or courier. Further, if form is incomplete you cannot re-submit. Your cash back claim is lost.
Even ICICI bank which first introduced Cash Back schemes did not have such tough irrelevent conditions. Also, you have to submit ID proof and address proof, which otherwise they can take from invoice itself. In other word, it means they do not trust address mentioned in invoice itself.
I was unable to sleep. I was restless, and repeating these fine print in mind. Then I remembered Mouthshut.com. I typed every details. My heart was emptied. I became cool. Further, I knew I have warned other members. If this news spreads, no company can fool all the people at all the time.
