I had just bumped into this site by chance and its catchy name made me curious to find whats Mouthshut is all about! Though I have been a member since aug04, I havent contributed with a review/RRC’s , due to time constraints. I’ve been visiting the site as often as few times everyday (peeking during office hours as well..hushh ;-)), just for reading reviews though!!
Was wondering what product I could write my review on . I’ve never been storing hard facts about products in my head , enough to write a good review about. So thought Mouthshut is one item I could write about for a start as it seems irresistible to me , that of late, I suspect am addicted to visiting it ! I hated to admit I got addicted , but thats for real, believe me.
Registering:
Quick n simple - even for the dummiest n laziest! One does not need a login ID for browsing, but for participating you need to wet your feet(or hands) though !
Speed:
Real quick, don’t have to go bhalle bhalle..but get too hunched on over my PC, as no time for stretching out!
Review n Writers:
Came across some very good reviews that came straight from the heart and many writers are now on my fav list. Each writer has his/her own style- some regular types, funny, horny, serious, kiddish, can-write-epics, short-n-sweet, to-the-point, totally-off-the-mark, am-trying -2-make-u -laff(but u cry) types. But its all fun, all are here in a good fun loving community. Thats what matters na?
Comment on reviews:
It was only after long did I start opening the comments sections of reviews and was amazed to find the heart of the community right here, in the comment they wrote to co-members. All the free interaction and warmth of its members are here to be felt.
Most members take Critisisms in their stride and move on. But some mud-slinging felt of late , but that will come n go, I guess. Freedom of expression and thought is free flowing. Reviews are only of average standards though. But I guess each writer is writng to best of their abilities.
This much for now...so far so good ..am yet to explore its other features (wait until that for some negative sides identified by me).
I wish I could write a lot more, but duty calls...gotto go..
