MS is an excellent forum as well as a nice community of people who interact with each other and share news, views, and opinions on various topics of general interest.
It’s a chaupal in the cyberworld! Site design is good, speed is superb, navigation is excellent, all the facilities are user friendly. There are some flaws too;
Books need be treated as a different category by itself. You cant put it under ’’entertainment’’category. Books are much more than mere entertainment.
The readership of one’s review posted/published is at the peak as long as the review is in the list of 30, thereafter, it falls dramatically. It’s not fair to say that build your own community and all those get notified. One needs a wider audience. Hence, firstly the list of 30 be changed to list of 75 looking into the number of reviews posted every day. Secondly, it is observed that some of my friends are posting/publishing 8-10 reviews in a row! Thus occupying all the space and elbowing out other from the list. There should be some restriction. One can write and post as many reviews as one likes, but MS should publish only one review of a member in 24 hours, this way everyone will get a chance to see his review listed longer thus attracting a larger readership.
Everything cannot be categorised in life. Hence there should be an omnibus category ’’MISC’’, ’’OPINIONS’’, or ’’ADVICE’’ under which one can post a review/view which does not fit into the regimen of categories listed.
MS should make it accessible to the members a demographic compilation of its membership base, members in total, countrywisde, citiwise, agewise, sexwise, professionwise etc, so that one gets a feeling of the community characteristics.
