It was an ordinary day and I was surfing the net when I hit upon the site MS. It caught my attention instantly and I started spending the next 2 hours reading reviews of various members. I felt like being part of this community but did not know where to start (as usual with any situation). A weekend passed and today, as I logged into MS, a featured star-writer popped on the home page. That face looked very familiar. It resembled my friend at school. Curiosity and anxiety forced me to click faster. Whooohooooo!!!! Look what I found... just-did-it was none other than my friend. The needles of my clock seemed to wind backwards to 1989. I remember Srikantan (alias just-did-it now!) way back in school with his command over the language english, his criticisms to those simple things in life and with a passion to the game cricket. As time passed, we met now and then but never shared nor spent time. The last I remember seeing him was....well...I don’t remember! (blame it on my memory). Well that does tell that it took a long time, right ?....(pausing for a moment)....I know how I will start my opinion...with this one!. I feel good. We sure live in a small world. I am sitting here in california, desktop in front of me, few clicks and I find my friend.
I did not know where I could put this note ? Should I put it under internet coz thats what made the world a smaller place or should I put it under MS for having created an environment where people like just-did-it with exceptional skills speak out/share/deliver knowledge/criticize.......and I would love to keep continuing but I know you got the message.
