Hey all, I have broken into the algorithm of SORT technology and able to find the logic of HOT Review. Thus I know how this HOT Reviews are selected. How they have been kept and removed from the list.
Point no 1 : Topic Selection
There are few guidelines for Selection of Topic e.g. any movie review or advice will not be in Hot Review.
But if you write on any one other topic that there are fare chances of getting review in Hot Reviews.
If you write on a new topic which is untouched, then you can get in your review in Hot Review e.g. Indian Idol - II, India Vs South Africa Series etc
Review on few products like Nokia, Maruti etc will often gets into Hot Review. Good tie up with those company, I must say.
You would also find some reviews on traveling places in Hot Reviews.
If you write about any controversy which is going on like Ganguly-Greg clash, then reviews can be in Hot Review.
Point no 2 : There are some category of Members, Category A to E
Category A :-
That includes some really good writers. Most of them are star writer. They mainly writes on Hot & Current Topics. Their reviews just got sold like hot cake. They got maximum hits and maximum rating. The reviews also have maximum comments also. It often generates good debate. Dark side is only one, even though few people may have not like the review they would not dare to Rate it U or NU. One can’t sail against the wind. These writers are Bhavana, afrank, coolcritic7, chandani., psyxx, Citize etc.
Irrespective of the Topic and quality of review, 80 % of their reviews are there in the HOT Review. So don’t get wondered if you find these writers often in Hot Review.
Category B : -
That includes some fair writers. Few of them are star writer. Their reviews are interesting. Their reviews are often viewed by many people. The reviews also have fair amount of comments. These writers are krazy4sonu, sachien, anuj_bhatanagar22, parikhmunir, Zuludancing, Criminal etc.
These writers will be preferred in Hot Review section. 5 out of 10 of their reviews will be there in Hot Review. There topic selection shall be good and it shall attract more readers,
Category C : -
That includes some Above average writers. Their reviews are mainly interesting. Those reviews are sometimes viewed by many people and have more than average comments. These writers are IamSujaij, CKSana, paulomi79, G-Raptor etc.
Not many but few reviews of these people are there in Hot Review. It mainly depends on the topic selection and writing style.
Would not like to say much about Category D & E as you will not find them in Hot Review section even though they have written good. Let me admit that many new comers are also there in Category E who are constantly putting reviews on same topic, like movie etc. That never helps all. They are also not reading much and doing RRC.
Point No 3 : When you review is about to go out of Hot Review section.
When your review is in middle or near to middle in Hot review section, you review is there for log time. But when you find it is going up to bottom or top half of review, it is bit dangerous, specially if it is reading at bottom part.
Point No 4 : How you can keep review for longer time in Hot review.
SORT Technology may be based on number of hits. To keep your review alive, you need to increase no of hits to review. You can do it yourself also. None is there to hold you back. Keep clicking on .
