Hey, Mr. Right! Are You Looking For Me!?! (Pt. 2)

MOUTHSHUT: YOU OWE ME ONE!!!

When writing my third review, I came face-to-face with the only thing I don’t like about this place.

Let me first tell you some of the things I DO like about this place:

  1. Friendliness of both staff and fellow writers.

  2. A chance to learn about India--as well as other people, places, and things worldwide.

  3. Easy navigation.

  4. Attractive site.

  5. Great communication system--I’m told which members have read my writings, even when they don’t leave ratings and/or comments, and I love this message service.

And so much more.

But here’s what I don’t like about the site. Not only is there an 8000-character limit on what you can write (which is uderstandable but takes some getting used to), but it’s very difficult to change what I’ve written to go along with it.

Like I was pretty sure that what I was writing on five sites would require both a part one and a part two in order to get it all in--so I planned it that way.

But, when I went to write part two, I found out that I couldn’t submit to the same category, because the space was taken up by the first part already.

So I decided to merge them together--possibly, it wasn’t too long after all. AH--but it WAS!!!

So my next step was to do a lot of cutting and try to make it fit.

Finally--after all that work--all it would print was my original first part.

Fortunately, I also had a copy of the second part still in its original form.

Therefore, I’m going to print it right here.

Hopefully, this site will be adjusted eventually to hold several-part articles. Either that, or give more wiggle-room than 8000 characters.

The first three I mentioned, you can actually get paid for writing. The last two, you don’t--not directly, anyway, though I’ve found a way to make them possibly lead to that, but more on that later. Right now, here’s the first one. . .

I’D REALLY LOVE YOU TO KNOW HOW I FEEL!

Have you ever noticed a teensy-weensy button displayed on the websites, profile pages, etc. of various people on the Internet that shows a mood and a matching face?

The first one I noticed was on the WBM profile page of iculookn (a.k.a. Miss Tara). I just checked her mood a few minutes ago, and she was feeling cozy.

Now, Miss Tara doesn’t spell it out why she feels a certain way.

However, when I decided to get into the mood-button crowd, I decided to share how I feel. For instance, this one has been up since May 16. I’ll be changing it soon.

The mood I posted was better, which was accompanied by the yellow smiley-face.

By the way, you have four choices of faces: a yellow smiley-face, a blue sad-face, a red angry-face, and a green bland-face.

The one I had posted before that one was blue.

If you were to click onto my mood that I posted on May 16, here are the details you would find:

My last mood I put up was that I was feeling blue--but I’m feeling much better now after a little sleep. I’m still feeling a little draggy, but just so much better and not blue anymore. I find that, when I feel blue, I need to try to get in touch with myself and see what’s causing those feelings. There are a number of factors that have gone together at this time: 1. That time of month 2. Recovering from a little stomach-flu (probably, because of the first reason) 3. Wanting to take a trip but just too tired to do so. 4. Finding out that a place with a lot of happy memories for me had not only been closed but completely torn down as if it had never been there--which reminded me of the dreams I had back when I went there a lot that didn’t materialize as well as the people (several with ties to the place) who had passed away (many within the last dozen years or less). 5. Thinking of various happy photos I’ve looked at lately--a friend cuddled up to his fiancee who would be taken from him by a wreck; people who were killed in the Oklahoma City Bombing; Tim McVeigh during his growing-up years; etc.--and wishing I could rewrite history. 6. Letting it get to me that I haven’t done even half of what I’d set out to do here recently. 7. Thinking about a very precious person I wish I hadn’t screwed up on being friends with and how I would be happy to get a cyberhug from him a.s.a.p. Anyway, I’m less blue and draggy than I was a few hours ago before getting some rest, so that’s a great sign. And I know I have a lot going for me--but I also know that my feelings of grief, loss, and frustration are valid ones, too, so I have a right to have them! I believe the day ahead will be a good one. :o)

I don’t always change my mood report everytime my mood changes, but this will at least give you an idea of what’s going on in my life.

If you would also like to share how you’re feeling with others--as well as find out how others are feeling (There are a lot of areas of this website to explore, and you might find yourself making some new friends!)--you just go to imood.com to register.

I’VE GOT A WEBSITE THAT WON’T QUIT!!!

I’ve made various websites here and there in Cyberspace, but the one I call my main website now is my online diary. The index to the same can be reached by going to the following URL:

https://ainsleyjo.diaryland.com/older.html

I call my online diary Ramblings & Rattlings By Ainsley Jo :o), and I use it for so many things--and know I’ll be using it for even more things in the future.

For one thing, I write down my thoughts (obviously!).

For another thing, it’s a great way to share some of those FWD-style e-mails.

Instead of FWDing so much e-mail to so many people, I share select ones as diary entries.

And I share photos, too, and tell about them.

Finally, you’re probably wondering how I can actually make money in an indirect way from a place like my diary.

Quite simple! I provide links to my writings, etc. at the sites I write for pay at. Great transportation there!

The same holds true (MORE indirectly) with my imood report, because the place I’ve listed as my homepage is my online diary--which has, among other things, links to various ones of my writings!

If you would like to get your own online diary from Diaryland, you just go to:

https://diaryland.com

You’ll be surprised at all of the neat information and social opportunities you might find by exploring the site beyond the pages of your diary!!!

IN CLOSING. . .

Now that you know where to find me, I hope to see you around! :o)
