We , the Indians, love two things the most , first is cricket and the second one is watching Movies. Both are not lesser than a religion in our country. There are a lot of options when it comes to watch movies in multiplexes in pitampura and it’s nearby area Rohini. One such option is Movie time pitampura , which is situated next to city park pitampura. I had watch a lot of movies on this theatre , close to 30 since it’s inception.
My first visit to this theatre was way back when #Lage Raho Munnabhai# was released, that time it was a wonderful theatre, with great infrastructure and nice decent crowd used to visit. From young ones to the older ones, from friends to families , crowd was exceptional and used to provide a luxury feeling.
As of now , things have gone really worst for this theatre. From the point of entry to the mall, you will come to know that the situation and surroundings are deterioted. No cleanliness drive is performed there at any time, whenever you go in a month or two, the garbage grows on and on and put in the open in the Mall.
Besides this shameful condition, movie owners don’t give a damn to improve it and people still visit that theatre owing to the one of the cheapest ticket prices in Delhi multiplexes. Another reason is that when you find a House full at your favourite theatres, you can visit here as ticket will be available easily. One more reason to visit this theatre is the Audis are mostly empty here, so more and more couples who want to do things other than watching movies visit here frequently. It’s so hard to family people to visit this place , since the crowd here is the worst and lacks decency which one must expect from Multiplex audience. People also use foul languages on a kissing scene or any intimate scene on screen and behave like as they have never seen this kind of thing in their life.
No mopping is done to keep the surroundings clean, the accelerator is broken from the past 3 years, it’s not in working condition. All the shops have been shut down , and are spots if garbage disposal only. The food in the movie time counters is so bad in quality , u will never order a popcorn or a burger again if u visit the theatre again by any chance. Seats of the audis are broken and lacks normal comfort, not even replaced in a big time. It’s online ticket process still faces problems many a times and remains closed for certain days and certain shows.
If you have the courage to ruin your movie watching experience , go and take a ride to this theatre . You will come disappointed with a bad feeling wondering that these type of multiplexes, still exist in an area like pitampura . Hope, my review has been of some little help to the movie-goers.
