"Rediscover the Web" - Superb wordings for such a fledgling of a company who is competing head-on with the Goliath of Software in the browser market for now. Firefox has been chipping away at Microsofts Browser Market Share slowly and steadily. Its left to be seen what Microsoft can do with their IE7 offering.
Lot of people still use IE even today. I am sure its gotten into their systems a lot and these people do not want to switch because of numerous reasons like Bookmarks, Saved Passwords, History and a whole lot more... But, there is hope for such people with Firefox. I switched a long time ago.
Download it for yourself and check it out. Its a lot more compatible with websites than it used to be earlier. Ofcourse with Microsoft running its monopoly all over the world, you cant expect all websites to promote Firefox. Thats a death wish.
Go on, read what Blake Ross, the architect of Firefox has to say about IE7 here:

FEATURES:
I have been using Firefox for a long time now. Its an excellent browser. You can customize it so much theres absolutely no end to it. Its really amazing what you can do. The download is less than 6 MB. Installation is easy and straight forward. Just follow the instructions and you can even import all your IE Settings during installation itself. Too good.
Just start using the original "tabbed browsing". CTRL+T is the way to go[ opens a new tab]. Just middle click with your mouses roller button on the tab and Voila! its closed.
Once you get a feel of it, start using it for everything you do on the web. Did I mention its much more secure than the current IE6 browser!!! Yeah it has some security issues as well, but way way less than IE.
Its got a search bar on top which will not interfere in you browsing experience in any way and its customizable too. It loads google search by default. Just type in your search string and it automatically queries google. No need to go to https://google.com everytime :-) Its got an efficient pop-up blocker too.
You can also set a Master Password for all your stored passwords. It will ask you for the Master Password once per session. Just type it in and continue your normal browsing.
The bookmarks toolbar is very useful. Customize your links in folders. Nows the best part...You can open all the links in a particular folder @ one shot. Powerfull feature of Tabbed Browsing. Worth it, dont you think.
Check it out...you will love it!
