5. MoodLogic (winamp plugin)
Lets face it, listening to music can be work. If you listen to CDs, you have to find the CD or song you want to hear, load it into your CD player, and press Play. If you want to hear a mix of songs, your only option is to burn a CD of those songs, or else put several CDs in a CD player and press Shuffle. Digital music is better, but it is not perfect either. You have to seek out songs online or rip them from CDs, store them on your computer, and then locate the songs you want to hear. You can create basic mixes, but it is a manual an cumbersome process and in most cases you end up with a mix that has songs in it that you dont want to listen to.
6. Moodlogic
The MoodLogic Active Music Experience changes that. Not only can you finally organize your music files automatically(and clean up poorly tagged songs in the process), you can create mixes that are as specific as you want. You can even create an instant mix based on one of your favorite songs! Using MoodLogic controls, you can easily created mixes based on genre, artist, mood, tempo, and year, or any combination of these criteria. What you get are songs that you want to hear.
The Active Music Experience requires that you activate your songs. To do this, simply use the MoodLogic Activation Center to locate the songs on your computer and click Activate Songs. During this process, MoodLogic communicates with the MoodLogic Network, identifying your songs and assigning data to them. Once your songs are activated, you can take full advantage of the power of MoodLogic. You can try MoodLogic on up to 25 songs. If you like what you see - and hear - you can buy MoodLogic to activate your entire collection. Moodlogic has an impressive file managing and mp3 file tagging system.
