In my 10 years of IT carreer, this is one of the most unprofessional companies I have come across. I had my reservations of working from a particular location as it was 40 kms from my home, I was given enough assurances that I’ll not be made to work from that office.
On that promise I actually resigned from my current company and joined Mphasis. The day I joined I was told that I have to work from that very location and I don’t have any other option. After repeated talks with everyone, it felt to deaf ears. At times I just used to sit at the reception for days of the corporate office to get some info and convince them that how difficult it will be for me to work from that location. Sorry to use these words, but I felt like a beggar.
In the end I had no other option but to leave Mphasis in few days and start looking out for other job. Luckily I had another offer in hand to fall back upon, other wise I don’t know what would have happened.
HR of this another piece of s**t, they think there job is just to the point of getting the people on board and thats it.
If you really love your career, please don’t think about joining this company. In the end for them you are just a person whom they can bill to the clients, irrespective of your discomforts.
