I have owned tons of Mr. Coffee, coffee makers and yes they make a good pot of coffee but they don’t last. The longest I have had one last is a year. I believe an appliance should last longer than that. I gave up on that brand and went to another.
I use a West Bend now. It has the same features with the auto brew set so your coffee will be ready when you want it. It also has an automatic shut off which is a good safety feature in case you forget to shut it off.
It has an auto stop so you can grab a cup before the brewing is completed. It also comes in many colors and holds 10 cups.
I bought this two years ago when I moved into my new house to match my kitchen and it is still going strong. I paid no more for this than Mr. Coffee but I expect this maker to last a lot longer. Already it has given me twice the amount of time for the same amount of money and I would recommend this to anyone.
Very little care is required. Now and then run some vinegar water through and keep the pot washed and that is all there is to it. It can’t get any easier.
It makes great coffee every time, just the way I like it. I have other small appliances of the same brand and have had great luck with them and that is what made me choose this brand of coffee maker.
