MSN Messenger is a handy little tool for keeping in touch with your friends and family around the world!
First of all, you have to register with a username and password. This is called your ’passport’. Then the world is your oyster!! Providing other people are also using MSN Messenger, you can add them to your friend’s list, and they can add you. Whenever someone comes online, a small box (either green or blue in colour) will pop up, telling you who has just come online. Either chat by text, or you can voice chat as well. This can be handy if your typing isn’t up to speed!
It alerts you when you get new emails, and you can even call somebody’s computer or home. You can also use smiley faces in your typing area.
It’s a great way to keep in touch with your loved ones and friends, and easy to use.
