MTNL claims its services are cheapest., but when you use you will find it costliest.. I waited long to take MTNL broadband; I had a mind that it will be cheaper.
I used the combo plan of Rs. 149/-, feeling that I’ll be hardly paying Rs. 400-500 in a month considering my use, but in every month, I was getting a bill of Rs. 2000-3000, even when I was not using the phone. They say 400 MB download is free, but it is actually consumed in a day or so.
When you visit a stie the whole site gets downloaded irrespective of the number of pages you visit. 400 MB is consumed sooner than you expected and your payment meter gets on. Finally, you pay for each MB you used. I tried it for 6 months then shifted to sify for Rs. 440/- unlimited download plan AND VERY MUCH SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICES.
