I am using MTS Mblaze Ultra since October 2013 in KOLKATA(Dum Dum Rly Station area).
Till date maximum speed I experienced was 250 kbps. I complained to them and they promptly called back and checked from their system while I kept the dongle online. They agreed that I am indeed getting around 250 kbps and promised to look into the matter and come out with a solution.
After two days I got an email from them where they categorically mentioned that 250 kbps is good enough for all types of work and nothing in this regard is required to be done. It is really strange as to how can MTS decide what speed is enough for all types of work for an individual!They promise through their advertisements that their 3g+ network provide max 9.8 mbps speed but advised me to be satisfied with 250 kbps!
Recently since the last 1 or 2 months there is frequent fluctuations in signal and network rapidly shifting from HSD to 1X and vice versa. I have complained to them that EVDO REV B dongle is getting 1X signal only sometimes but they have remained silent.
May be they now think that 1X is enough for all types of work for me.
My advise would be to MTS that: Please do not advertise about your 3g+ network. It is a shame that you say you provide 3g+ and provide 250 kbps speed. So tell the public what you can give and be honest!
