I have been using MTS kolkata network since 2 years. So I have a little bit knowledge about this network.
Advantages:
# Every one always say that airtel and vodafone’s network are very good overall in India. I agree that but I also think MTS is not so far from this two giant network. I give you one example that once I travelled to Berhampore(WB) by train(Lalgola Passenger) and believe me I feel that in this line I never face any prob of network even in running train. So I suggest you to do atleast one time experiment with this network.
# Very very cheap compare to others.
Live example of MTS(kolkata)- Onnet Local unlimited call for one month worth Rs. 97(prepaid plan) only and you get additional messege pack of daily 100 SMS to any MTS.
# Only 5 black out days.

11th Oct 2016 - Dussehra / Vijaya Dashami
31st Dec 2016 - New Year Eve
# Blackout days valid only for sms not for calls. So you can call your dear person/persons by making free calls.
# Very responsive and carring customer care services.
Disadvantage:
# I can say only one disadvantage i.e, you have to buy any CDMA mobile phone worth rupees 1100. This is only one disadvange which I have found for 2years honestly.
Note: Who are very talkative they can go for this one specially for lover couples, MTS can understand yours feeling so they set only 97 Rs. for MTS to MTS unlimited for 1Month on Kolkata Network.
