I am Vinay a Banking professional. We (me and 8 of my friends) made an advance booking with Greenwoods camp for our trip last weekend(22nd and 23rd Jan).The booking procedure was very simple and everything was online.
We had really high hopes on the stay and experience believing we would stay in Jungle however we ended up staying in a Village which is not even surrounded by Forest. The website photo gallery is just false side of actuals. We stayed in a small tent which was freezing in night (No Blankets / Bed) and in the end we had to sleep in our cars with heater ON whole night. Food is really bad, very less selection of food. Caretakers are very rude in simple words they are NOT Care Takers. They don’t respond to any of your queries and also sound like they are doing a favour giving food to you "Place is not very good for a stay. Although website promises for backup power supply and electricity. You will end up staying in dark in nights. On 23rd night while we were enjoying FireCamp (11 PM), some neighbours (local villagers) started throwing stones at us as it was very dark, we couldn’t locate from where the stones were coming from and we had to run into our cottages for our safety.
One of my friend tried to wake the caretaker and he didnt respond at all. THIS PLACE IS HIGHLY NOT SAFE TO GO WITH FAMILY .Me and My friends don’t recommend this place
