Another love triangle. Or should I say ’’ nah..not again ’’.
Bollywood producers seems to be running out of stories is the first impression I got while watching the movie.
Same old plot. Same old ending. Just put in the teen heart-throbs ( Hrithik and Kareena ) and you can be sure the movie will make a hit.
The movie heavily borrows on dilogs from other love stories in bollywood. Yes the movie is one step further than others , it introduces the concept of falling in love via emails without seeing each other for years. Something that the present generation is very well aquainted to.
The movie has average music. None of the songs are what you can call chartbusters.
Performance - Hrithik and Rani have given decent performance while Kareena has showed more of her body and curves than her acting skills.
One of the reasons why one can tolerate this movie is because of the Locations. Everything seems to have been shot in Europe. No restrictions on expenditure it seems ( after all papa’s dear son is acting in the movie too ).
The ending is bit dramatic. The wind blows and the thali falls and the sindoor drops in Ranis forehead. Now the producers would have done better to have a more easily digestible ending. One side you have love on the net and on the other side you have god intervening to make sure that this story has a happy ending.
This happens to be just another commercial movie without and good storyline. Might be a hit. But certainly not worth watching again
