Mujhse Shaadi Karogi Songs

Sajid Wajid have done some pretty good songs before and have produced albums like Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Tumko Na Bhool Payenge and Kya Yehi Pyar Hai. I’ve grown to love most of their songs, so I didn’t hesitate in buying the album of Mujhse Shaadi Karoge.

I’m actually going to see the film tonight, and I can officially say that I am in LOVE with most of the songs in this album.

Track 1 - Rab Kare

This is a very mushy, typical bollywood song but I still love it. It has very romantic lyrics, and is sung well by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. It is a very sweet song. I found that the more that I listened to it, the more I grew to love it. It has an irresistable beat, and I found that by the end of it, I had fallen madly in love with it.

Track 2 - Mujhse Shaadi Karoge

This is a pretty hilarious song if you’ve seen the video, and even if you haven’t, it’s still a pretty hilarious song. It’s great to hear Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam battle it out for the best voice :-) I was basically smiling when I heard this song. It’s great to see Udit Narayan in an aroused sort of voice as he normally sticks to quiet and sweet songs.Sunidhi Chauhanwas great as usual.

Track 3 - Jeene Ke Hai Char Din

This is when ANU MALLIKdestroys the album. I’ve never heard such a bekaar song in a SajidWajid album. Went to investigate and --HOHO-- Mr. Anu Mallik decided to interfere. it has pointless lyrics and is generally a pointless song. I must point out however that Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhanstill sounded great, however possible it is to sound great in a song like this.

Can’t say much about this song because you’re going to have to read about the song itself in Track 8. The remix was pretty good J

Track 5 – Lal Dupatta

This is my favourite song from the album, and now adds to my list of general favourite songs. It is such a beautiful song. Alka Yagnik sounds great in this song, so sweet and simple. The lyrics are beautiful, and so is the tune and the beat. This is just an irresistible song.

Track 6 – Kar Doon Kamal

This is a funky song sung by the amazingly amazing Sukhwinder Singh. I always found him so amazing, his voice, his temperament, his everything. This song is pretty good. It has a great beat though.

Track 7 – Lahoo Banke Aansoo

This is basically the sad version of Rab kare and it is so beautiful that I fell in love with it immediately. It’s exactly the same tune, but it was just Sonu Nigam’s voice. It was so heartbroken that I was just sitting there going;

The lyrics are beautiful as well.

Track 8 – Aaja Soniya

Sonu Nigam sounded so great in this song. After just listening to him so downcast in the last song, he suddenly springs back to life and livens up the mood. This shows how versatile some singers are. It’s just amazing. Well, this song has a great mood, a great beat, great lyrics, great tune, great instrumental variation….and I Love It!!!!!!!!

Tu Aaja Soniye.
