Hi Friends, I got a mail from a friend of mine wherin his email id read as @mumbaimail.com. I went to the site and got my name registered. There are a Lot of sites which are offering free email service, but this one gives me an identity with which I identify. I do not want a hotmail or a rediffmail or a sify, because these names tell more about themselves than the user.
At Mumbai Mail I get the feeling that it describes me and not the company which provides the service. I wrote to the CEO of Dot Name Mail Services, Mr Nick M, the company which provides this service of Mumbai Mail and he informed me that they are launching 1000 such ids. where we Indians can Identify ourselves i.e diferent cities and surnames of India in the next three months. They have already launched nearly 70 details of which are on their website.
As for the Service it provides a 6Mb mailbox, and the service is quite fast. They are also giving short 1, 2 & 3 character email ids. which many of the services don’t provide. But I am happy with @mumbaimail.com.as I IDENTIFY WITH IT.
