When the movie was released.I thought, it must be one of those numerous movies hitting the screen of lately. I guessed it will be a love story(scene to scene lift from a Tamil/Telugu movie).Even songs lifted from the original.
But then, all my friends and colleagues were all praise for it and claimed that they saw the movie atleast twice.
I decided to go for it.It was my best fiend’s b’day(a perfect occassion u c). We went to PVR. The audi was full(note:- earlier when released, PVR Bangalore was playing 3 shows for it. But now it’s playing 5 shows.).
The movie is all about an episode in the protaganist’s life, played by Ganesh. the whole story takes place during a span of a month, in the rainy season. This particular span/episode/incident changes entire course of his life.
Basically, in the movie, Ganesh plays a happy-go-lucky guy.He sees a girl at a mall and falls in love with her.He is really crazy about her.He tries to search and get to know her, but with little success.
Meanwhile, he visits his mother’s best friend, along with his mother. Its her daughter’s wedding.
The girl turns out to be the one, whom Ganesh loves.What happens next? is wat the movie is all about.
The story is "nothing out of the box" types.But its the treatment, the way its presented, which is refreshingly different. The director has weaved all the scenes, in such a way, that thers not even a single dull moment.The performances are again brilliant. Ganesh is excellent.
He gets into the skin of the character and is very very natural.Ganesh.Take a bow.Reserve the state award for the "Best Actor" for him.He deserves it. Take any scene be it a comdey, or an action or any emotional sequence, Ganesh’s performance elevates it.
Sanjana Gandhi is good and suits the role to the T.
Ananth Nag is brilliant once again.Would love to see him in more of such films.
