India's answer to Scotland

Guys, before I start this review a little disclaimer, this review is straight from hy heart , no mentioning how many metres above sea level, nearest rail head & so on.

Kerala gods own country , oh the greenery fills you eyes. Greenery is always Emphasized by nature when wet , that makes the monsoon in kerala all the more pretty.

The entry into Munnar itself is breathtaking, clouds all over the place, the way to munnar is peppered is beautiful waterfalls.THere are many good hotels in Munnar , we had checked in a place called Igloos cottage , adventurous name & good place too I must say, the place is on a slope with these beautiful cottages scattered here & there. The service is a little slow.

Coming back to the place, u feel like ur in Scotland the greenery, the scenery. Munnar dosent have many places to actually go & sightsee but its more of a place to hang around with youir beloved. This place is filled tea estates looming all over you, Do check out into Tata Tea or Kannan Devan Tea & be sure to take plentiful home, they have the best tea you would have ever tasted.

Theres this place where they breed Swiss cows, the place is very scenic not to mention that you get to see swiss cows. Theres also this flower garden there.

The best place in Munnar is the sanctuary where u get to see mountain goats ( so they say !!! ) but thats no problem because the view from there makes you forget that you came to see mountain goats.

THe township is very small & you have nothing to take home too except Tea of course.

Sooner or later go to Munnar !!!!!!!!!!
