I think if my review is read after Raja Shilpi., I am not going to get a great review. But still, I would like to throw a couple of experiences that I have had in this place.
This place is the cleanest of the 3 hill resorts of Tamil Nadu (Ooty & Kodai). The place was a great respite after the experiences of the other places
The place comes at very cheap price and without any haggling with the inn owner. Nothing like any of the farm houses, but I had to be put up in a inn and that wasnt bad.
Visit the Tea Gardens. Man, they made a great scenary
About the route to e taken, this palce is also accesible from Coimbatore and hence try that.
I had gone there in August and the weather was very pleasant and hence a trip then is well recommended. This place, take it from me, is not the ’’musshy musshy’’ hilllocks like OOty and Kodai, where you do a tour, walk on the pavements, peddle some boats etc. Munnar is for the more adventurous, trekking, wildlife visits, the waterfalls etc ... its more of a camping than a sight seeing visit ...
