Hi guys,
This is ma first review.I wont bore u with long stories but will give u exactly wt u need;D
We went to Munnar via erode, avinashi from bangalore in diwali of17.
temp was hot btwn 10-3 offcourse its tamilnadu;D but was very pleasant after that.
i will say one thing though if u travel through bike to this place u will enjoy the ride but u cannot enjoy the nature but with a car the driving becomes exhausted with those potholes and narrow roads.
no offence plz do stay away from kerala vehicles, they are very harsh in driving.
before reaching kerala border u get Udumalaipettai which is full of windmills, nice thing to watch during drive.
along the entire journey u wont find any proper food, make sure u eat wtever u get.
there s a "bell mount" hotel in munnar and its really good.
there r few checkpoints in which they openly ask for money and make sure u carry ur vehicle documents.
on the way u get lakkam waterfalls, mareyoor, kanan devan hills.
after reaching munnar, around 5 go to pothamedu point, u can clearly see the entire cloud swallowing up the mountains;D
go to topstation in early mrng or evening-u get a nice view.
u neither find any english nor hindhi boards nor do they speak that, if u dont know the language and if ur google isnt working. U R SCREWED!
u have many other shitty places to visit there if u google it.but all those places has been commercialized & too much crowded and shopping is not the reason u go for MUNNAR.
IN CONCLUSION-
DEAR FRIENDS, BOOK A ROOM FOR 2 DAYS IN MUNNAR or MAREYOOR or KANAN DEVAN HILLS,
RELAX, HAVE A NICE FOOD AND CHILL WITH UR PEOPLE, ENJOY THOSE SCENERIES WITH LONG WALKS & COME BACK TO UR HOME WITH A FRESH MIND,
AFTERALL THAT iS A DEFINITION OF GETAWAY RIGHT?
