After writing reviews on five and ten best movies this is the first time iam going to write a review on a movie
Muqaddar ka sikandar was directed by prakash mehra this movie stars amitabh bachchan vinod khanna rekha and raakhi in the lead roles
The story starts off with a boy, who is orphaned at a young age He works as a attendant to kaamna with whom he falls in love But one day, he is accused of theft by kaamna’s father which he hadnt committed and he is thrown out of the house.He is adopted by a muslim lady and she decides to name him as sikandar Years later, sikandar has grown up(amitabh bachchan) but still he has not forgotten his childhood love kaamna.However when he meets kaamna, she rejects his proposal. Disheartened sikandar then starts drinking and visits a brothel where he meets zohra bai(rekha) a prost*tute, who falls in love with him However when zohra’s lover dilavar khan(amjad khan) hears of zohra’s love for sikandar, he plans to kill him.Meanwhile sikandar discovers that kaamna and vishal are in love and so he decides to go away from their life In the end, sikandar is killed by dilaavar khan and zohra bai commits suicide.
Muqaddar ka sikandar was a tragedy .This was one of amitabh bachchan’s best performances He was simply superb in this movie, rekha also did a good job and so does vinod khanna and raakhi
the music of this film is great*
