Murder Murder

Even before I start writing this review let me admit that neither I am a movie buff nor I have seen the movie ?Murder?. I just read a couple of review in the site and the ruckus it had created in the comments section. So I thought I would indite my viewpoints as a review of the movie. After writing this review, I read a few more reviews on the movie and realized that what I have written is completely out of context. But having written a 2 page review, I don?t want to banish this to the trash, Anwayz please bear with me

No 1) The somnolent gay activists have been recently obstreperously voicing their concerns over the issue of gay relationship and their marriage. Till date it seems a Draconian law is in vogue, which does not recognize a gay relationship. A fact that was brought to light after the Murder (Phew! I got a chance to make a mention about the movie) of some gay(s) in Delhi.

The said law has been copied and pasted from British law by British men during their rule various moons ago. But Microsoft has to be blamed for this, during that time the British could not set up an excel link to the corresponding law in their home country, as a result the Indian law was not changed when corresponding law was amended in Britain to recognize gay relationship, the cause for this whole predicament. The government can not be blamed for this. Tell me honestly, how many times have you messed up your report owing to poor or lack of links?

No 2) I came to know about the concept of lesbianism, when my mom interdicted me from watching the movie, ?Fire?, when it was aired on TV. I have not seen the movie till date, not because my mom proscribed but because I never got to, but that?s beside the point. Even before the movie was conceived, the Lesbian relationship has always been in practice, just that it was never spoken about.

So?the point is??.. wake up; wake up, waaaaaa kke up, time for homosexuality.

Don?t you think, in light of above the whole issue of extra marital affair, a healthy heterosexual relationship sounds silly and trivial? It is just once or twice. Or may be just three or four or?..times not after I see my kid with that killer looks that makes me feel guilty for what I have been doing or may be not after I get bored of sex. (Please don?t bother to lampoon me on this; I am just making an attempt to drive a point)

When the issue itself is beginning to sound so very normal, don?t you think a movie on extra marital affair doesn?t really warrant anyone to inveigh? This is not an apocryphal story fabled when a writer?s creativity was at its best; rather, this is a story written based on your next door neighbor or may be you.

I guess you really can?t expect a director to make a movie the way you want, rather it is the director who should know what you want and make the movie the way he wants it. It is we who wanted a soft porn movie from Mallika, after the steaming kissing scenes and a sensual story was just an accidental concomitant.

I have a few questions.

How many times have you seen the uncensored version of ?Kama Sutra? or ?Fire?, I am sure you have seen, more number of times than I have. I am not expecting the number, but just run past that number before your eyes to assuage the sense of vituperation on this movie.

How many times have you watched the same movies surreptitiously when your parents/wife/children were asleep, when these were aired repeatedly on Zee cinema (oh no I never knew these movies were aired, I am just guessing). I guess you can watch these movies too in similar clandestine fashion. (Just like any of us do)

And lastly besides all this, just in case you are not lured by the sensual story or sizzling Mallika, you have a fabulous choice of not watching the movie and advocate the same to the near and dear.

Don?t you think there are loads of options before you, than resorting to unfair measures of banning these movies from Indian theatres? Don?t you think it tantamount to paring of creative wings of moviemakers and their freedom?

I beseech you to eschew this invidious feeling towards these movie makers, movies and people like me who watch them. Live and let live.

I am not sure wether I have convinced enough in airing of these movies in theatres. Let me proceed on the issue of Mallika. Please allow me to change my style of writing

About sizzling Mallika Sherawat

The social system in our world be it, Communism, Socialism and other ism?s or the type of rule be it Monarchy, oligarchy and other Ki?s have all been anarchic when it comes to cultivating and nurturing every individual on earth to pursue his passions and assist him in chasing his dreams. Rather they all have been a hindrance. There has been a glass ceiling between different strata in the system and migration to upper strata has been very much stanched by these invisible ceiling.

What I mean?

A peasant?s son has always remained a boor and a cobbler?s son a cobbler; though there has been a marginal betterment in the line of activity, there has been no significant exodus from a lower stratum to a better stratum.

However history is replete with a few exceptions, people who have vanquished in breaking this glass ceiling.

A closer look at these people, one would realize?..

While a few have accomplished this by sheer will, perseverance and most importantly with high ethical standards, a majority are able to accomplish only by unfettering themselves from the moral restraints.

The following person whom I adore, is quoted not to denigrate but to adduce

Dhirubhai Ambhani the maverick, with heretic thoughts is a lapidary in the stone of history, in the chapter of rags to riches and in Indian business. But he became notorious when it came to ethical standards on the issue of political clout he had and the benefits that accrued, blah blah.

The point is, ordinary people in pursuit of their extraordinary dreams, tend to compromise on the ethical standards set by them, at tantalizing distance from their destiny. I am sure we could be squabbling on the percentage of people who compromise the ethical standards and who don?t. With no defense for my conclusion, let me move to the issue of pornography.

Being a staunch aficionado of any pornographic content, I admit that I would be the happiest guy to watch a Indian female performing a salacious act before the camera, but but ?.if the lewd display is out of volition and not out of compulsion from external factors or from forces within.

I am sure you would agree with me when I say that there is certainly an element of tad compunction in all of us, when we watch these females hapless situation, something that no heart can brook. However I wonder will there be anything in the name of pornography, if people perform on account of volition and neither on account of impecuniousness nor on account of chasing their dreams of making it big in life.

Now on the issue of Mallika:

It would certainly be spoony for one to conclude that Mallika Sherawat does, what she does, out of volition and she is passionate of doing what she is in to.
