A finance enterprise is meant for availing finance at an emergency need of fund with sufficient security. And what if the staff is treating you like someone who came to beg for alms? Horrible experience. I had a medical emergency and needed ?25000 urgently. I had a gold ornament worth the amount so I walked into Muthoot Finance branch in Edappally(Ernakulam, Kerala) to avail agold loan. There were just a few customers. I waited for my turn.
There was only one staff and a manager who was inside his cabin. Suddenly an elderly woman walked in and interrupted the transactions with an inquiry of a fixed deposit. Immediately the staff rose from her counter and led the lady to the next counter and began discussing her requirements leaving all us behind. Even though frustrated, we waited.
Around after 40 minutes, the staff was back and she placed the lunch break board. As she was leaving the counter, we( myself and another customer) asked what is going on. To our surprise the staff shouted back at us claiming they too are human and they need break. She also claimed that if its so urgent find another finance because there is lots of nearby. Literally I was shocked by their attitude. How could a customer relation staff behave so ill mannered? I would not let any of my friends or relatives avail your finance.
