You want heavy metal you have got it. thinking about heavy metal all the usual groups will come into your mind.but this is nothing compared to what you hear.this group is mind blowing with their songs.ok if you have seen the movie triple x you might have seen a group all dressed like mainiacs playing at the club in the first scene where the first secret agent is killed.yup that is the group and the sound track for that movie is ’’feuer frie’’ was composed by this group.
rammstein looks more like a group from the dark depths of germany.all the songs are in german though but the guitars , tunes and the singer’s voice will keep you glued to that song.now this is pure heavy metal.even though I dont understand a word they sing in their songs I love the way the drums and guitars are played.if you listen to that then you will know what I mean by pure metal.mutter is one of my most favourite albums even though all my songs are all mp3.the album has not yet come to india and most of them havent even heard of the group.which is good though.doesnt become to common and it then becomes nice to hear something good that other people havent listened to at all.im pretty sure half of you reading this review havent heard of the group at all.
the band consists of christoph schneider nicknamed ’’doom’’ who is the drummer for the group.he was part of a another group named Die firma before joining rammstein.he even worked with telephone installation before becoming a musician.the next member was originally a cook but now plays the guitar for the band.his name is richard kruspe.the person on the keyboards for the group looks like and innocent person.which is unusual because this group is full of head banging maniancs.his name is dokotor christoph lorenz nicknamed ’’flake’’.he was originally a tool maker.no wonder the group mixes industrial in their music.the second guitarist paul landers worked on operating heating systems in a library before joining the group.the fifth member Till Lindermann is the vocalist for the group and is an olympic gold winner in the swimming category.the last member the bass guitarist named Olli Riedel was originally a person who worked as a stucco plasterer.
weird isnt it.all these people who had absolutely no futures have taken off on a music career.lets go back in time and see how the band got together.in early 1994 the six members got together and formed the band.after composing a few songs the group struck up a deal with a record company called motor records/polygram.by august 1995 their first single was released.the song was ’’du riechst so gut’’.by september 1995 the album ’’herzeleid’’ was released.by 22nd december they were on their first tour in germany.
since then the band has been going all over the world on tours.some of their most popular songs are ’’engel’’, ’’sonne’’, ’’du hast’’, ’’zwitter’’, ’’links1234’’and various other songs which I am on the look out for.the other popular song is the sound track for the triple x movie which has been mention in the first paragraph.the album is great.
the songs are good but the group members can look a little repulsive at times.but they still come out with hits after hits which has a small group of their fans in bangalore including me busy clicking on the mouse button downloading their mp3’s.but to caution you some of the songs can be really loud and their are times the songs will go from a normal tone to a really high scale.if you do get affected I suggest you stay away from this group.those of you who can take it give it a try.its worth the download time.
