I loved My Big Fat Greek Wedding! It was a funny well written movie. Casting for this movie was excellent. I really liked the lead actress Nia Vardalos as Toula. She made the role her own. It seem like this was really her life and not a movie she was playing in. The chemistry between Nia Vardalos and John Corbett (Toula and Ian) was great. To tell the truth it really surprised me that I enjoyed this type of movie. Just the title alone tells you how the movie is going to end, Toula is going to get married. Even though I could tell a lot about the movie from its title I still enjoyed watching Toula go through all the steps to make her dream (or should I say the family dreams) come true. From the first time the two main characters were put on screen I knew they were going to keep me laughing. If Toula and Ian don’t put a smile on your face their family will.
