Pennie’s FREESTORE is Closed. They offer a free Gateway for signing up and paying the first month free of 29.95. This computer was advertise on the Gateway web site as
695.00, with the contract you recieve from FREESTORE, you pay for 3 years of Earthlink, 99.00 s&h, and finance charges. The total came over 1200.00 and that is with a refurbished monitor, and half of the package deal you were promise was not available on the contract. I also had the store open for 3 weeks, recieve over 2, 000 hits from people who went to the site, little over 30 who went though the order process and realize there was a s&h and not free as promise, did not complete the order process.
I have been to sites that offer free products just a small s&h charge and they let you know up front about the s&h charge. I just got Norton Antivirus for 8.95 and it retail sells for 46.99, so there are good deals you just have to look. BUT FREESTORE IS A GIMMICK AND MY PERSONAL VIEW A SCAM.
And try to close your store, it is impossible, and I have sent, as you can’t call, over 5 emails, no closing no response, and if they try to charge me another fee we will be call the Internet Fraud Hotline.
