As the title of the review indicates, these are only my own favorite ten! Need not necessarily be your’s. I know everybody has a set of their own favorite websites to ponder. It will be nice to know others likes and dislikes as well. So, here we go!

GeoCities provides the space needed to house your own home page and even shows you how to create one! You can use their on-site authoring tools if you are familiar with HTML. Your site is reserved when you send them an email request. You have time to create your home page and display it for all to see. You can choose any theme formed around common interests such as literature, arts, sports , education or technology.

I am sure, there are many like me, who just love this site and would like to browse through whenever you get time. I do anyway. Though I don’t find time to write, due to my heavy academic workload , I take time at least a few minutes to read and write once in a blue moon. I was once in the ’Hall of Fame’ when I had time to write reviews. It is nice to see many people writing now a days. But, still I cannot understand the criteria for a ’Star Writer’ as I see some people writing just a few lines who fall in that category.

Infoseek is one of my favorite search engines, apart from Google. You simply type in a question or phrase, the way you normally speak You would get the results quickly. Infoseek is also case sensitive. That means, you should use capital letters for proper names. Just try this question and see. ’Where is Newfoundland?’.

This is an excellent website, where you can find articles of lifestyle, some in the question and answer form and also lots of mouth-watering recipes. You will also find new advice being added every few minutes. You can get some health-related advice as well. I go there mainly for authentic recipes, which you will find plenty.

I visit to this website quite often, which gives me all news about India, and mostly about my place Madras, now referred to as Chennai. Vikatan is actually a tamil weekly magazine, which I am able to read through in this website. I keep myself updated with everything going on politically or any news on movies etc.

Being a lover of nature, this environmental portal has really impressed me a lot and I visit this place quite frequently. You can click to help save the planet, race for the rain forest, panda etc. There are some interesting articles on healthy living, where you also get good recipes as well.

This is an interesting website. You can also enter a photo contest, apart from solving the puzzles. For the PhotoPuzzle , if you are lucky, you can get $100 awarded ! For easy Puzzle , the prize money is $50. You have to arrange the puzzle pieces to form a picture. Even if you don’t win, it is very interesting to fix the puzzle. Still there is no harm in trying.
