I ordered a shoes for Cash on Delivery. The delivery arrived today(13th Nov 2014). I assumed we could check the colour and size of the shoes before paying the cash. I believe that is the whole point on choosing cash on delivery vs paying by credit bard.
The delivery boy Manigandan, started demanding money. I told him I need to check the colour and size before handing over the money. I asked him what is the difference between paying by credit card vs cash in delivery. He couldn’t answer. So I asked him repeatedly(politely) to call his superior so that I can check with him. He started shouting loudly(we are staying in apartment community) and started barging inside our apartment.
There was a small child and old ladies in my apartment and that’s when I decided to give a taste of his own medicine and gave him an earful. He then called his superior. Needless to say the shoes were of different colour. Irrespective of how cash on delivery works with myntra there is a way to talk to customers and Manigandan didn’t have the slightest decency and acted like a goonda. If it were upto me I would fire him.
