I have visited Mysore palace just next day off dussera, It was really crowded as it was festive season and weekend came together. Initially we wasted lot of time to keep the sandals, because police told what ever sandals keeping outside will be in waste, hence waited in long queue to get cover by paying 2 Rupees and giving to keep in shelf. That is safe actually rather than exchange of sandals happening later. Still they could have told in friendly manner and to respect the visitors.
Even to enter palace also long queue of many lines were there and felt fed up of moving like that. As there was many lines, what happened is both the sides we cannot see together, because people in the first line see architectural work and statues in left, last line people can see only right side things.
Because of crowd couldn’t even take a good photo from the inside palace, nor outside palace.
Because in every photo takes many strangers also included and no single photo could take.
There were few camera people where they will take photo in front of palace and give the printed photo.
Climate was good, not to sunny. Better not to go during festive time. I hope other days would be comparatively fine to visit.
